“Here You have” E-Mail Virus Spreading Across Corporate America

An e-mail virus that has the subject line “Here You have” has been spreading across corporate America. The virus has hit ABC/Disney, Coca-Cola, Google, and NASA. Comcast had to shut down their e-mail servers due to the virus. “Apparently, this virus (if you click on it) will pooch your PC if you shut it off if you’re infected,” stated the Comcast spokesperson on Twitter.

“Good Morning America” weatherman Sam Champion was infected with the virus himself. He posted a message on Twitter that said a huge e-mail spam virus was filling up his ABC News e-mail account.

E-mails that contained the virus with a link that encouraged readers to click on a PDF document. Instead of a PDF, there was a Windows script that turned into a virus and spams the entire contact list. The McAfee Threat Center is currently investigating the virus.
