Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE:WMT) announced earlier this week that they are introducing a cell phone plan branded under their own name. The Wal-Mart Family Mobile service will run on the T-Mobile USA network and will have unlimited calling/texting for $45 per month for one line. Each additional line for the family will be for $25.

The Wal-Mart Family Mobile service will be available starting next week across most of their services. The Wal-Mart Family Mobile service will be postpaid so that the family bill can be paid at the end of each month. The service does not have a contract requirement or early termination fee. The customers do not need a credit check either. The cheapest phone for the Wal-Mart Family plan is a Nokia device for $35.
