Yahoo!’s Three Year Plan Is 1 Billion Users and $10 Billion Revenue

Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) had a press event earlier this year. Yahoo!’s product chief Blake Irving said to the crowd: “You’re going to see things over the next few years that will feel a little bit different.”

Yahoo!’s goal is to increase the number of unique visitors to the website from 622 million to 1 billion. The company also plans to increase revenue to $10 billion from $6.5 billion. Yahoo! grew 9% over this past year in unique visitors. But revenue actually dropped from $7.2 billion in 2008 revenue to $6.5 billion in 2009.
