Three Million Businesses Now Use Google Apps

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has hit a major milestone earlier this week. The company has announced that they have hit 3 million Google Apps business users There are over 30 million users within these businesses, schools, and organizations as well. Google announced this figure at the at their annual European event called Google Atmosphere in Paris, France.

Another announcement Google made at the event was Google Docs on Android and iPad. This means that co-workers that are on-the-go can modify documents simultaneously on a wider array of devices.

To enhance security Google Apps Premier, Education, and Government Edition administrators can now have users sign in with a combination of their passwords plus a one-time verification code sent to their mobile devices. This adds an extra layer of security to help prevent phishing scams.
