Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) and Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ:ORCL) have come to an agreement. There is no more litigation over the appointment of Mark Hurd as the president of Oracle. Hurd is the former CEO of Hewlett Packard, but he was fired for supposed sexual relations with a company contractor.

“HP and Oracle have been important partners for more than 20 years and are committed to working together to provide exceptional products and service to our customers,” stated HP interim CEO Cathie Lesjak. Hurd was sued on September 7, shortly after Oracle hired him. Hurd agreed to adhere to protect HP’s confidential information while fulfilling his duties at Oracle.
