Earlier this week, Honda held an event in Times Square in New York City using 3-D technology to promote the Honda CR-Z sports hybrid coupe. Honda held the event across five blocks and ran a 3-D CR-Z commercial on the Times Square HD Spectacolor screen (on Broadway between 46th and 47th STreet). Hip hop group N.E.R.D. also performed at the event. About 250,000 people attended the event.
