Celebrity Twitter Auction Initiative TwitChange Receives $540K To Build School In Haiti

A celebrity charity auction called TwitChange has raised over $540,000 through Twitter. The initiative was led by Desparate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker. The $540,000 will be donated to build a school for disabled children in Haiti.
Celebrities have offered to follow fans and meet winning bidders in person. The Miriam Center will be rebuilt for children that suffer from autism and cerebral palsy. You can read more about the initiative at AHomeInHaiti.org.
