Google Acquires Scheduling Management Company Plannr

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has acquired Seattle-based mobile planning startup Plannr. Plannr is intended to target groups of friends that are less than ten people. E-mail, SMS, geolocation, and phone calls are three of the main features in Plannr.

Plannr has a social calendar where you can group message friends. It would not be surprising if Plannr ends up being integrated with Google Me. Plannr was founded by former Microsoft employees Ben Eidelson and Jason Prado.
