Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has hired designer Joel Piaskowski. Piaskowski will be joining as the director of exterior design for The Americas starting October 1st. Piaskowski worked as a designer of Hyundai and Mercedes-Benz brand cars. His most recent position was head of the Advanced Design studio for Mercedes-Benz in Irvine, CA. Before Mercedes, Piaskowski worked at the North American Design Studios at the Hyundai Kia America Technical Center in Irvina, CA. Some of his most significant contributions were the Hyundai Genesis sedan and coupe. He also did work for the 2011 Hyundai Sonata and the 2010 Hyundai Tucson. [Detroit News]

Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss both appeared on the Today Show to discuss why they are reopening their lawsuit against Facebook. Supposedly the Winklevoss twins were paid $65 million as part of the settlement. But the twins deflected the question about how much they made from the settlement in the interview. The twins want the settlement vacated because they were misinformed about how much Facebook is worth as discovered by leaked IM conversations of Mark Zuckerberg making fun of how little the twins were paid to settle. Internet billionaire and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is joining the second season of ABC’s “Shark Tank.” He will be a guest venture capitalist giving his opinion about the ideas created by small-business owners. The producers of the show received over 20,000 requests from entrepreneurs who wanted to pitch their ideas to the venture capitalists. Mark Cuban sold Broadcast.com to Yahoo! for $5.9 billion in 1999, which is where he gained a majority of his wealth.
