Casio has just announced the first camera with a Hybrid GPS. This means that the camera can geotag photos and videos indoors and outdoors. The Exilim EX-H20G (above) has a 14.1 megapixel sensor, SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot, 10x optical zoomed, ISO range of 80-3200, 3-inch rear LCD, CCD-shif image stabilization, 720p movie recording, and HDMI output. The rear screen can also show the user’s current position on a map. The EX-H20G will be in stores this November and will retail for $349.99.

Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) has introduced a couple of new desktops this week. HP launched the Omni 100 and the TouchSmart 310. Both desktops have 20-inch HD wide-screen displays.

Naspers Limited, a multinational media company based in Cape Town, South Africa has acquired a controlling interest in Multiply.com. The acquisition was made through the Myriad International Holdings unit of Naspers. Multiply.com will continue to operate under the same management team after the acquisition.

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) is rumored to have bid on Lovefilm, a European company that is similar to Netflix. The acquisition would be in the form of a takeover offer. The offer values Lovefilm.com close to 200 million pounds.

Cirtas Systems is a cloud company that just got out of stealth mode and they emerged with $10 million in funding. The $10 million is in the form of an oversubscribed Series A round from Amazon.com, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and New Enterprise Associates.

Ez Texting and T-Mobile are currently in a legal battle that involves the blocking of text messages. Ez Texting filed a lawsuit on Friday for blocking SMS messages on the T-Mobile network. Here’s the back-story:

Alibaba.com Limited (HKG:1688) said that they have “moved on” from talks with Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO). Essentially Alibaba wanted to buy back stake in their company that Yahoo! owns. But both parties have failed to reach an agreement this year.
