Yahoo Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) has announced that Yahoo! Connected TV will be added to the new line of HDTVs manufactured by Toshiba Corporation (TYO:6502). Yahoo! Connected TV will be on Toshiba’s 46″-55″ HDTVs, which includes the WX800 Cinema Series 3D LED. Yahoo! Connected TV currently has 65 Yahoo! TV Widgets available at the click of a button. Justin.tv now has a live video broadcasting service for the iPhone. This announcement was made about two weeks after Justin.tv was launched on the Android operating system. The Justin.tv 2.0 iPhone application not only has live streaming, but there is also chatting and Facebook/Twitter sharing features.

Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT) has acquired Aloqa, a private startup that develops location-based technology for mobile applications. The financial details was undisclosed. Aloqa raised $1.5 million in Series A from angel investors and Wellington Partners about a year ago.
