Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) CEO Michael Dell appeared at the Oracle OpenWorld conference this past week to announce a new 7-inch tablet and said that his company is on track to hit $60 billion in revenues this year. The new tablet appears to run on the Google Android operating system.

Earlier this week, Honda held an event in Times Square in New York City using 3-D technology to promote the Honda CR-Z sports hybrid coupe. Honda held the event across five blocks and ran a 3-D CR-Z commercial on the Times Square HD Spectacolor screen (on Broadway between 46th and 47th STreet). Hip hop group N.E.R.D. also performed at the event. About 250,000 people attended the event.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has added some new features to Hotmail.com. In May, Hotmail.com was given a full redesign and in August, Microsoft added push notifications to the service. In the next few weeks, Microsoft will add Facebook chat support, inbox subfolders, video-playing capabilities, package tracking, and LinkedIn integration.
