Larry Page and Sergey Brin Attempted To Hire Steve Jobs Back In The Day


Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin wanted to hire Steve Jobs before Google became a large company. During Bloomberg TV’s Game Changers documentary of Google, Larry and Sergey had interviewed 12-13 candidates. Other facts that are in the documentary include how Jeff Bezos invested $250,000 into Google’s angel round of funding. T-Mobile Flash Mob Welcomes Heathrow Terminal Travelers [VIDEO]


T-Mobile takes their flash mobs seriously. In 2009 they had a flash mob take over Liverpool Street Station and then they followed it up in Trafalgar Square. Now they have decided to do a flash mob at the Heathrow Airport in terminal 5. Check out the video below:

YouTube Hits 1 Billion Subscriptions


In 2006, YouTube added a subscribe button for following certain channels. YouTube announced today that the subscribe button has been hit 1 billion times. MachinimaSports was the channel that hit one billion mark. There are 15 YouTube channels that have surpassed one million followers. The channels include fred, nigahiga, kassemg, shanedawsonTV, shanedawsonTV2, smosh, universalmusicgroup, machinima, sxephil, davedays, mysteryguitarman, kevjumba, realannoyingorange, raywilliamjohnson, failblog, and collegehumor. Fortune Says iPhone Is Expected To Be On Verizon By Early 2011


Fortune has confirmed that the Apple iPhone will be released in early 2011. Analysts are estimating that next year Verizon could even sell 8-9 million iPhones. Verizon CEO Ivan Seidenberg believes that the network will be able to handle large amounts of data demands, especially considering how much the Motorola Droid data is consumed. The Verizon iPhone will be on the 3G CDMA network, which means that it won’t work much outside of the U.S. [Fortune]

AOL Sells Buildings To CB Richard Ellis Realty Trust For $144.5 Million Cash


AOL, Inc. (NYSE:AOL) announced this morning that they have entered an agreement to sell four office buildings. CB Richard Ellis Realty Trust took over AOL’s corporate par for $144.5 million cash. This means that AOL will have $750 million in cash as of October 29th.
