DailyD is a daily local deals website that is based in Santa Monica, California. DailyD has raised $5 million in funding according to a regulatory filing. DailyD was founded by LowerMyBills founder Matt Coffin. Although the funding company was not listed in the filing, Jim Simons of Split Rock Partners is listed as a board member.

Before DailyD, Coffin sold LowerMyBills to Experian Interactive for $330 million in 2005. Coffin has also been an angel investor. He invested in ThisWeekIn, Ad.ly, Docstoc, and Rubicon Project.
