Autotrader.com Buys Out Kelley Blue Book

AutoTrader.com has acquired Kelley Blue Book Co., Inc. for a reported price of over $500 million. AutoTrader.com expects to make a substantial amount of additional advertising revenues from the acquisition. AutoTrader.com will also buy Kelley’s sister company CDMdata. CDMdata provides hardware and software data for the auto industry. The deal is expected to close by the end of the year. [Reuters]
