Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) is rumored to buy a building that covers a whole block in Manhattan. The building is 2.9 million square feet and would cost about $2 billion. The building is at 111 Eighth Avenue and is one of the largest buildings in Manhattan. The building is 18 stories high and is between Eighth and Ninth Avenue from 15th and 16th Street. Google already rents 550,000 square feet in the building. Other tenants include Nike and WebMD. [New York Post]
