Arkansas School Board Member Clint McCance Resigns After Facebook Rant


Arkansas school board member Clint McCance has resigned after he ranted about homosexuals on Facebook. “I made some very ignorant comments and did not realize just how ignorant they were,” said McCance in an interview with Anderson Cooper on CNN. Below is the full comment he made:

“Seriously they want me to wear purple because five queers killed themselves. The only way im wearin it for them is if they all commit suicide. I cant believe the people of this world have gotten this stupid. We are honoring the face that they sinned and killed thereselves because of their sin. REALLY PEOPLE.”

    It's simple. The community was outraged, and the pressure to resign became too much for him. It all happened so quickly because it became a media sensation so quickly. The guy got exactly what he deserved, but I don't think it had anything to do with the Tea party doing housekeeping.
