James Cameron is the popular director behind movies like Avatar, Titanic, True Lies, Aliens, and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. According to Deadline Hollywood, Fox made a huge donation to Cameron’s environmental green fund and he will be making two Avatar sequels in return. Cameron will be withdrawing from a film he was planning before called Cleopatra, which would have starred Angelina Jolie. This means that Cameron is now tied up until December 2015. Research In Motion has announced the BlackBerry Bold 9780 smartphone. The 9780 runs on BlackBerry 6 OS and it has a built-in QWERTY keyboard. There is also an optical trackpad, WiFi, GPS, 5 megapixel camera, 512MB RAM, and microSD slot. The phone runs on GSM Quadband (1900/1800/900/850 MHz). T-Mobile will be selling the 9780 for $129.99 with a service contract on November 17th.

The website oneframeoffame.com lets you replace footage from the music video and add your own webcam pictures. These pictures will appear on the music video if you match the pose made by one of the band members. The video gets refreshed every hour and 24,000 webcam users have participated on this music video. The Barnes & Noble Nook Color 7-inch Android tablet will cost $250. The tablet has access to full color books, newspapers, apps, and magazines. The new Nook Color has a 1024×600 7-inch full-color LCD touchscreen built by LG. The screen has an accelerometer for portrait and landscape modes.

A new device made by Sony Corporation (NYSE:SNE) might have just been outed: The PlayStation Phone. Engadget reports that the device would likely have Android 3.0 (Gingerbread) running. The Sony Marketplace will let you purchase and download games designed for the new phone platform. The phone displayed here has a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor, 512MB RAM, 1GB of ROM, and a screen with a range of 3.7-4.1 inches. This device is a complete rumor so don’t get too crazy yet. Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) has redesigned Yahoo! Mail to make it faster and safer. The new Yahoo! Mail Beta is at least twice as fast as before. Facebook and Twitter integration has been added to Yahoo! Mail too. You can tweet, retweet, or send a text message out to friends while putting together an e-mail. If a friend sends you photos or videos from Flickr, Picasa or YouTube, then it will show up in a slideshow on the side. This way you never have to leave the page to see the external content. Facebook Credits will soon be sold at Wal-Mart and Best Buy. Facebook Credits are already available at Target retail stores. The Credits can be used to make in-game purchases on games and applications. Walmart will be selling credits in $5, $10, and $25. Best Buy will be selling them in $10, $25, and $50 gift cards.
