eBay Is Preparing To Redesign By Holiday Shopping Season

eBay Inc. (NASDAQ:EBAY) is preparing to redesign their website in preparation for the holiday shopping season. This will be eBay’s first major homepage design in close to 4 years.

Amazon.com already had a lot of the same features that eBay is planning to add. “One of the most important things we had to do was become more of a technology-driven company,” stated eBay CEO John Donahoe.

eBay’s homepage will provide recommendations that are based on previous searches. There will also be a list of the hottest items being sold. “We have been responsible in driving pretty aggressive change,” stated Donahoe. “I always want to go faster.”
