Jimmy Kimmel Declares November 17 As National UnFriend Day

Last week Jimmy Kimmel did a show where he declared November 17, 2010 as National UnFriend Day (NUD). He is encouraging Facebook users to un-friend people who should not be your friends. For example: if you wrote in a status message that you are moving this weekend on your status messages and you friends do not respond, then they should be removed.

“NUD is the international day when all Facebook users shall protect the sacred nature of friendship by cutting out any ‘friend fat’ on their pages occupied by people who are not truly their friends,” states Kimmel’s website. Check out the video clip below:

Kimmel’s got a point. Check out this funny You Tube video (http://bit.ly/baJL1w) about a guy who’s fed up with Facebook. It was written by the same guy that wrote the viral YouTube video “So You Want to Go to Law School.”
