Facebook Pages with major brands have been hit with a major security flaw. Google, Coca-Cola, YouTube, The Daily Show, Team Coco and other major brands have been sending out malicious links to their followers through Sendible, a social media management platform. The link led to a page that said “Change Your Facebook Background Here!” This link led to an outside page that asks you for personal information. Facebook has removed a large chunk of the malicious links right away. Sendible said that they weren’t hacked, but they said that it was a major flaw in Facebook’s security. Hat tip to KJS for sending the tip!
