About 35 Hours Of Video Footage Is Uploaded To YouTube Per Minute

Want to know why YouTube isn’t profitable yet. That is because YouTube is the biggest video sharing website in the world and about 35 hours of footage is uploaded to their servers per minute. This is up from March when YouTube reported 24 hours of video was being uploaded per minute.

There are several reasons why YouTube video uploads grew rapidly. YouTube is now letting people upload 15 minutes of video as opposed to the 10 minutes they were offering before. More people are uploading to YouTube from their mobile devices than ever before. And more companies are integrating API support for YouTube uploads from various sources such as the game Call of Duty: Black Ops, which is offering direct game footage uploads.
