Google and Groggle End Legal Battle Over Name
Groggle has changed their name to Drinkle after a 6 month legal battle with Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG). Google objected to the name Groggle after the Australian drinking site applied for a trademark application. Groggle is a website that helps you find the best prices on alcohol drinks around Australia.
The Drinkle team announced on Facebook and Twitter that they are “forging ahead” now that the trademark battle is done. They also said that they are now going to “celebrate by drinking Australia’s most [expensive] bottle of beer,” which is Crown Ambassador 2010 Reserve made by Foster’s. That beer costs $90.
