College and Career Planning Website ConnectEDU Raises $7 Million

ConnectEDU is a college and career planning service that is based in Boston, Mass. The company has raised $7 million in funding led by Allen & Co. Margaret Spellings, former Secretary of Education under President George W. Bush joined the ConnectEDU board of directors as well. ConnectEDU plans to establish regional service centers throughout the U.S. as part of the funding.
ConnectEDU set up SuperApp are hundreds of high schools to help students, parents, and teachers to manage the high school-to-college-to-career planning process. ConnectEDU’s Connect! community has about 5 million high school and college-aged student on its network.
