Technorati Acquires Silicon Valley Moms Blog

Blog search engine company Technorati has acquired Silicon Valley Moms Group. Silicon Valley Moms Group will be rolled into Technorati’s new Women’s Channel. The terms of the deal was undisclosed, but a paidContent source said it was for somewhere in the six figures.

Jill Asher of SVMG will be the new editorial director of Technorati and Blogcritics. SVMG was founded about 6 years ago by Asher, Beth Blecherman, and Tekla Nee. SVMG has about 400 women and mommy bloggers across 9 regions in the U.S.
