MarkOne Financial is being sued by Melanie Beacham for harassing her on Facebook. The agency had contacted some of her family members and other contacts to ask them if Melanie could call them back over a late $362 car payment. Beacham’s attorney Billy Howard said that “This is a huge invasion of privacy” and that it violates the FTC’s Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. [Switched]
