Lionside is a social gaming company that creates applications for sports fans. The company has raised $1.6 million in a first round of funding according to an SEC filing. Lionside is based in San Francisco and was founded in 2009. One of their first Facebook games was called Lionside Football and it was popular with soccer fans.
