Google Me, the “Facebook Killer,” project is being pushed back until Spring 2011 according to Mashable. Earlier it was reported that Google was going to release the new product in 2010, but now we won’t see it until at least March 2011. Google Me is a top-secret project being led by Vic Gundotra (pictured above). Google is still focused on integrated social elements within the company’s existing services.

The delay is supposedly being caused by disagreements on the design, purpose, and execution of the service — a consequence commonly associated with bureaucracy in large companies. Google also has to be careful when launching another as Google Buzz costed them $8.5 million in just legal fees after they were hit with a class action lawsuit.
