Apple Asks PhotoFast To Stop Producing MacBook Air SSD Upgrades [RUMOR]

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is rumored to have asked PhotoFast to stop producing 256GB SSD upgrade kits for Apple MacBook Air laptops. PhotoFast’s SSD upgrade kits read and write at 250MB/s while the SSD That comes with Apple laptops are between 150-160 MB/s. The reason why PhotoFast is complying is because they are an Apple partner in the MFi program. PhotoFast does not want to lose this license. Whether Apple allows the production to continue is still a big question mark.
