News Corporation (NASDAQ:NWS) is acquiring 90% of Wireless Generation for $360 million in cash. Wireless Generation is a Brooklyn based company that creates education technology for teachers. Wireless Generation will continue to operate independently after the acquisition. Wireless Generation has about 400 employees and they server over 200,000 teachers. Tim Burton is the popular director behind Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Big Fish, Mars Attacks!, and Batman Returns. He is now reaching out to Twitter users to work with him on Stainboy, a character that he recently developed (pictured above). Foursquare announced on their blog that they are opening an office in Silicon Valley. Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has launched a plug-in that resolves sync conflicts between Microsoft Office and Google Docs. The plugin is called Cloud Connect and it is available for free of charge. When you edit a document in Microsoft Word, it will automatically sync it to Google Docs every time you hit Save. I think that this is an awesome feature.

Supposedly Longoria had found some provocative text messages from Erin Barry on Parker’s cellphone. Barry and Longoria used to be very good friends before the divorce situation.
