The four people connected to The Pirate Bay was found guilty of “Contributory Copyright Infringement.” The founders of The Pirate Bay appealed to the decision and they were given reduced fines.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has hit a major milestone. They have shipped 1 million MacBook notebooks monthly in Q4 2010. MacBook Air models accounted for close to 25% of these shipments. Research company IDC noted that Apple’s combined shipments for the first three quarters of 2010 was about 6.88 million units. Apple’s market share in the U.S. shot up from 6.7% to 12.6% between the first quarter of the year to the third. Globally its market share increase to 5.2% from 3.7% between the first quarter of the year to the third. [DigiTimes]
