Yesterday Winklevoss twins Tyler and Cameron almost considered a decision to stop pursuing a reviewed lawsuit against Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook settled with the Winklevoss twins for $20 million in cash and $45 million in Facebook stock. But the twins want more… They want over $140 million from Zuckerberg and Facebook.

The twins prepared a statement earlier this week about how they still feel cheated by Zuckerberg. The settlement should have a far larger value than what was originally decided. The twins still believe that Zuckerberg did not come up with the idea for Facebook. The twins will be pursuing the case on January 11th in front of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco.

This isn’t the only court case that the Winklevoss’ are involved in. Wayne Chang claims to have ownership in ConnectU, meaning he wants some of the settlement money. “The principle is that they didn’t fight fair,” stated Tyler Winklevoss in an interview. “The principle is that Mark stole the idea.”

Borders Group, Inc. (NYSE:BGP) has been delaying payments to book publishers. This indicates that Borders may be losing a battle to the popularity of e-books. Borders is delaying payments so that they could refinance their debt. Borders may have to break their existing credit deals in 2011 after facing a “liquidity shortfall” said the company. In the company’s most recent quarter, they lost $74.4 million. [Electronista]

According to a source with AllThingsD, MySpace may lay off 50% of their 1,100 employees across the U.S. and internationally. Part of the reason for the lay-offs is because of pressure from News Corporation since the social network’s revenues and traffic has been on the decline. There is also a rumor that News Corp. Digital Media EVP of operations Jack Kennedy has been given the assignment to find a MySpace buyer.

There is a bug in the Google Android operating system that is a month old where SMS messages are being sent to the wrong contacts in the address book. The bug was first noted this past June. As of right now, the bug has a Medium priority for Google to fix. This bug currently exists on custom ROMs from Cyanogen, meaning it is a core Android bug. “To list this issue as “medium” is a gross understatement. This is much worse than iphone’s drop call problem,” said one of the commenters in the bug thread. [Examiner]
