Google Wave Entering Apache Software Foundation Incubator Program

Google Wave is a social media sharing service where people can share text, photos, videos, maps, etc. Google decided to stop any further development on Google Wave in August 2010. But the development will now live on through the Apache Software Foundation incubator program.

Apache accepted the proposal for Wave to enter the Apache Software Foundation incubator program earlier this week. During the final days of the Wave Protocol Summit, technical design and coding on the platform took place.
