BlueSLR Dongle Turns Your iPhone Into A DSLR Remote Shutter Release

If you have an iPhone and a DSLR camera, you will be able to benefit from the BlueSLR Bluetooth dongle. The BlueSLR application is compatible with the iPhone 3G, 3GS, and 4. You can use the BlueSLR app to trigger your Nikon shutter release from a distance of 300 feet. You can also use GPS tag photos using the app. The app is free, but the dongle costs $149. It currently works with a Nikon D5000. Eventually BlueSLR will work with Android and BlackBerry smartphones along with Canon DSLRs. [BlueSLR via Engadget]
