Dell In Talks To Buy Minnesota Based Storage Company Compellent For $876 Million

Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) is in talks to buy out Eden Prarie, Minnesota based data storage company Compellent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:CML). Dell would buy Compellent at a price of $27.50 per share, making the deal worth about $876 million. “There can be no assurances that an agreement will be reached or that a transaction will be consummated,” said the two companies.
