Nokia To Lay Off About 800 In Finland


Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) said today that they plan on cutting about 800 jobs in Finland. They had concluded negotiations with employee representatives. Nokia will over 5-15 months of regular salary as part of a severance package for the employees. These jobs cuts are in addition to the 1,800 worldwide layoffs that they had back in October.
