Facebook Inc. is rumored to be on track to hit $2 billion in 2010 revenues. This means that sales have more than doubled since 2009. The sources that revealed the information refused to be identified because Facebook does not disclose revenues.

The 2010 figures was previously estimated to be near $1.5 billion. Last year, Facebook hit around $700-$800 million in revenues. Some of Facebook’s ad partners include Coca-Cola, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Adidas. Facebook is hitting the $2 billion revenue mark faster than Yahoo! did and at about the same pace as Google. Facebook CEO and co-founder Mark Zuckerberg was also named the TIME Person of the Year yesterday.
