Staples Pulls Viewsonic G Tablet From Shelves Because Of Manufacturing Defect

The Viewsonic G Tablet has an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1.3 megapixel video conferencing camera, 10.1″ display, 512MB DDR2 memory, 1080p video playback, OpenGL ES 2.0 and Android 2.2 operating system. However Staples, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPLS) has pulled the Viewsonic G Tablet from the shelves because of a “manufacturing defect.” The G Tablet was selling for $399 at Staples during Black Friday.
