Groupon has hired former Amazon.com VP of Finance Jason Child to work as their CFO. He had spent 12 years at Amazon.com and was most recently in charge of Amazon’s $14 billion International business. Before Amazon.com, Child worked at Arthur Andersen for 7 years. “Groupon is one of the most amazing businesses I have ever seen. I am thrilled to join a great team that is attacking one of the biggest opportunities in e-commerce today,” said Child. [TechCrunch]
