Over the weekend Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) dropped the price of the Adamo 13 laptop to $899. The Adamo 13 is 0.65 inches thick and has a 13-inch screen. Dell also increased the specs of the laptop to 2.13GHz Core 2 Duo SL9600 Intel processor, 4G of memory, 128GB SSD, and 64-bit Windows 7 operating system. Jerome Taylor is a 20 year old that walked into the Northern Indian restaurant in New London, Connecticut and tried to rob it with an iPhone. Taylor believed that his iPhone looked enough like a small handgun so that he could demand money from the cooks. Except the cooks at the restaurant pulled out knives in defense and refused to give away any money. Scared by the cooks, Jerome told them that he was just kidding and said that he needed money for his child. He ran off before police got there, but eventually he was arrested. The restaurant decided not to press charges against Jerome because they felt bad for him. I’m putting Jerome in the “Hall of Shame.” [Gizmodo]
