Telecommunications company Bell Canada is being fined for violating the “Do Not Call” list. According to the Montreal Gazette, Bell is being fined for over $1.3 million because they made unwanted telemarketing calls to Canadians. The calls were made between January and October 2010. Kickstarter, a website that helps projects receive funding through a crowdsourcing method, has helped fund a movie called Losing LeBron. Over 100 people have donated $10,000 to help make the film possible. The producers will give HD Flip cameras to dedicated fans in Cleveland to help gather footage for the movie.

eBay Inc. (NASDAQ:EBAY) has acquired German private sales fashion shopping website Brands4Friends for $200 million (€150 million). Brands4friends started in 2007 and received investments from Mangrove Capital Partners and Partech. Through the acquisition, eBay now has ownership of SecretSales.com and brands4friends.jp.
