According to a report by DigiTimes, LG Display shipped 1.5 million units of 9.7-inch iPad panels. During the same month, Samsung Electronics’ shipments hit 1.2 million units. In 2011, LG Display is estimating to land orders for 35 million iPad panels. Samsung and Chimei Innolux is estimated to ship 15 million units of iPad panels, totaling 65 million units in 2011.
