Alivecor and Oregon Scientific Develops ECG System That Connects To Your iPhone/iPad


Alivecor and Oregon Scientific have developed an ECG system that can show you your heart rate through an application on the iPhone and the iPad. The companies plan on showcasing the app at the CES conference.

Each of the ECG units for the iPhone or iPad is expected to cost around $100. You will be able to use it at home to determine whether there is a serious heart issue that needs medical attention. Check out the video demo below:
