Aldershot Town Soccer Player Marvin Morgan Suspended For Twitter Remarks

English soccer player Marvin Morgan of the Aldershot Town Football Club has been suspended and fined two weeks’ wages for remarks that he made on Twitter. When Morgan was substituted during the club’s 2-1 defeat to Hereford this past Monday, he was booed. Upset by this, Morgan went on Twitter to rant about the boos he received. “Like to thank the fans who booed me off the pitch. Where’s that going to get you! I hope you all die.” Morgan issued an apology shortly after. [ESPN]
