Roku Surpasses 1 Billion Streams

Roku has hit over 1 billion streams on their set top box services. These streams have been made through their 1 million sales in set top boxes. In December, the average user watched about 11 hours of content through Roku. By the end of 2010, the company was streaming about 135 channels including Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Video on Demand. Roku currently has three boxes for sale: the Roku HD, the Roku XD, and the Roku XDS. The prices start at $59.99. [CNET]
