Details About Motorola Xoom Tablet and Droid Bionic


At a CES press conference, Motorola announced the Xoom tablet powered by Android Honeycomb and the Droid Bionic. The Xoom has a dual-core processor, 10.1-inch HD wide-screen display, “floating” multi-finger use interface, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, 720p video playback, 1MB of internal RAM, and it can be upgraded to 4G. The Xoom will be available in Q1 2011. At the same press conference, Motorola announced the Droid Bionic smartphone.


The Droid Bionic has a dual-core 1GHz processor, 4.3-inch HD display, HDMI output, 512MB of RAM, Adobe Flash/HTML5 support, front-facing VGA camera, rear-facing 8 megapixel camera, and is Verizon 4G LTE capable. The Droid Bionic will also be available in Q1 2011.

    I am eagerly waiting for the release of the Xoom. I hope the price it competitively. Anything over $600 will not sell IMHO.
