American Farm Bureau Sold FB.com To Facebook For $8.5 Million


The American Farm Bureau Federation sold the domain name FB.com for $8.5 million. On November 15th, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed that he bought FB.com from the Farm Bureau to use as internal e-mail addresses for the company as they prepare to provide their users with @facebook.com e-mail addresses. The 6 million members in the Farm Bureau now has to go FB.org to view the Farm Bureau homepage. [TechCrunch]
