Formspring Raises $11.5 Million Led By Redpoint Ventures

Formspring is a Q&A service where users create a profile page where anyone can ask questions. The questions and responses given are published on the user’s profile website. Formspring launched in November 2009 and recently they have raised $11.5 million in funding led by Redpoint Ventures. Baseline Investors and several other investors also participated in this round.

This brings their total funding to $14 million. Formspring claims to have about 20 million registerd users. Some of their pilot partners include, The Huffington Post, and IGN. Formspring plans on using the funding for additional product development and to increase their team size.
