NetApp is a server storage application company that is planning to acquire Akorri Networks. Akorri focuses on optimizing storage and server applications. The details are unknown, but it is known that NetApp is paying for the deal in cash. Akorri’s products will be extended into NetApp’s OnCommand management software products. Akorri was founded in 2005 and is based in Littleton, Massachusetts. Some of Akorri’s customers include eBay, Crocs, and Time Warner.
