Groupon Buys A Super Bowl Ad

Last month it was revealed that did not get in on time for buying a Super Bowl ad. The company settled on purchasing a pre-game commercial. But now it looks like Groupon will have a Super Bowl ad after all because PepsiCo returned their ad space. “Groupon has served as a bridge between the online and offline worlds,” stated Groupon CEO Rob Solomon. “After two years in business earning 50 million subscribers to date, we feel it’s time to use TV to reach an even broader audience.” [AdAge]
